Connecting and Communicating Our Innovation Plan
CONNECTING AND COMMUNICATING MY INNOVATION PLAN
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but our instructional days start with an antiquated process that is B-O-R-I-N-G! They lack engagement and, shockingly, alienate students with disabilities, those who are English language learners, and our Early English Language learners. Our students are accustomed to consuming large volumes of video-based content from YouTube and other social media platforms because videos create an engaging and interactive learning experience. So why are we so discouraging against something our students already cherish without our need to act? Instead, we should be leveraging that fixation! Let's face it, technology advances rapidly, and school districts need to keep up or risk losing the people that matter most to our learning institution. OUR STUDENTS!

Through my studies (literature review), I have discovered that the implementation of video content is a great way to enhance student learning and engagement. I have created an innovation proposal and implementation outline that includes the benefits of ePortfolios and how to implement them into our learning.
